Onetouch is a fully-owned subsidiary of Ghana Telecom and operates the GSM mobile service with the brand name 'Onetouch'. The Onetouch network has undergone remarkable growth of over 500 from just about 140,000 subscribers in the first quarter of 2005 to close to one million subscribers as of January 2007. Onetouch is fast becoming the most preferred network in Ghana because of the premium it places on the provision of quality voice service, GPRS data services and coverage, especially to the rural parts of Ghana. Onetouch provides both prepaid and postpaid services. The prepaid service is the most predominant sector with over 97 of the total number of subscribers in Ghana. This service is targeted at customers such as middle income earners, students and short term users like tourists and foreign business officials who are on a short stay in the country.
