Synergenix was founded in late 1999 by five experienced games programmers, who wanted to provide a stable developer environment for mobile games and enhance the technology available for playing games on mobile phones. The company has developed a software-based gaming console that would allow traditional game developers to create games for the mobile market with a minimum of effort. The platform is called mophun. mophun is a software based gaming console for mobile terminals. mophun gamelets are killer applications that will drive an increasing amount of traffic and revenue for operators and games developers. mophun, Synergenix's development platform, optimises the gaming experience for the graphical interface, sound engine and keyboard of the mobile phone.
