The history of Ukrtelecom foundation originated in 1993 when there was registered the Ukrainian Telecommunication Corporation UKRELEKTROZVIAZOK (since 1994 Ukrtelecom). Later, in 1998, according to the Program approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ukrtelecom Corporation was reorganized into the unified state enterprise and, after having been corporatized in January 2000, it was transformed into a joint stock company. Now, the organizational structure of Ukrtelecom JSC is built subject to the principle of vertical management of finances, technical processes and staff.
