ZyXEL is the largest manufacturer in Taiwan for network equipment market capitalization (about 896 million U.S. dollars), even though the company does not fall within the three leaders on the size of annual income and volume of production. The reason for this situation is that, rather than run for high profits and sales volumes, for many years ZyXEL pays special attention to research and development and promotion of its brand. Today ZХЕL became a leading global manufacturer of networking solutions based on Internet technologies for home users, corporate sector and operators. The turnover of companies in 2005 reached 390 million dollars in January 2006 in Taiwan and in offices around the world employed approximately 2,350 employees. In creating new products, which now comes in 70 countries around the world, involved three centres of research and development.
