The Telecommunications Market Commission (CMT) is the independent Spanish body responsible for regulating the telecommunications and audio-visual, telematic and interactive services markets. It was founded by Royal Decree no. 6/ 1996 (text in Spanish), of 7th June, concerning the Liberalisation of Telecommunications.
